To schedule a meeting with your Exploration advisor, please call the office at
614-292-0646 and the office associates will assist you. Appointments cannot be scheduled over email. You can reach us by phone from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding university holidays.

To prepare for your appointment, think about your hobbies, goals, interests and skills. Write down your questions and have a plan for what you want to accomplish in the meeting with your advisor. Research university policies and procedures, as well as degree programs and their requirements before the appointment. Finally, make sure you are familiar with your current academic record. All of this will help you have a successful appointment!
Need quick assistance with scheduling questions? Same Day Express appointments are 15 minute appointment slots that will be offered on select days to help you with immediate scheduling questions and adjustments.
If you are in need of a quick Same Day Express appointment, please call our office at 614-292-0646* in the morning on the day you wish to be seen. These appointments are limited in number and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Please note that Same Day Express is for immediate scheduling questions only and you will not be seen if you arrive late. We will offer Same Day Express on the following days:
Monday-Friday for the first two weeks of Autumn and Spring Semesters
On the 4th and 10th Friday drop deadlines for each semester
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during open enrollment periods when scheduling windows become available
M,T,W of enrollment weeks
Remember, you need an advance appointment for most advising concerns, like exploring majors, discussing policies and procedures and petitions so plan to schedule those meetings 2-3 weeks in advance.
*You cannot request an appointment by leaving a voicemail, due to volume these messages cannot be returned.
