| Campus Safety | Ohio State Police
strives to ensure that students, faculty, and staff are free from safety
distractions so that they may learn, teach, and conduct research. For
emergencies, call 9-1-1. The general, non-emergency number for OSU
Police is 614-292-2121.
The Escort Service
was developed to provide safe transportation during the evening and
early morning hours for students in the campus area. Trained, uniformed
Safety Service officers will walk or drive students to and from their
destinations within the service area when the person being escorted
feels unsafe walking alone.

| Student Life Career Counseling and Support Services | Career Counseling and Support Services (ccss.osu.edu) provides opportunities for students across the University to explore
majors and careers through workshops, individual appointments and
walk-ins as well as through their Career Resource Library.
Additionally, Career Counseling and Support Services can assist students interested in
pursuing graduate and professional degrees, and those who need
assistance with career correspondence and interviewing skills for jobs
and internships.

| Center for the Study of Teaching & Writing | The Writing Center
can help a student get started or keep going with a writing project. While
they are not a proofreading service, the Writing Center assists the
university community with a variety of writing projects, from research
papers to lab reports, resumes and applications.

| Counseling & Consultation Services | The Office of Counseling and Consultation Services
provides counseling and mental health services to assist students in
dealing with personal concerns, interpersonal issues and concerns about
relationships, academic effectiveness, and career counseling. Services
include individual counseling, therapy groups, support groups,
skill-building workshops, crisis intervention, and psychiatric
consultation. Walk-in appointments are available for emergencies. Other
appointments should be scheduled.
The majority of their services are offered out of the Younkin
Success Center (YSC) on Neil Avenue. Their psychiatric services are
conducted out of the office on the 2nd floor of the Wilce Student Health
Center. Both of these areas offer free services to all enrolled Ohio

| Office of Disability Services | The Office of Disability Services
works with students who have temporary and permanent disabilities to
provide academic support services and programs that enable equal access.
Students must register with the office to be eligible for services.

| Office of Diversity & Inclusion | The Office of Diversity and Inclusion provides many services to the campus community, including: ACCESS, Bridge, Mentoring, Tutoring and Academic Advancement Services. The Multi-Cultural Center focuses on support and programs through intercultural initiatives that develop intercultural competence.

| Examination Credit | Ohio State’s Testing Center and academic units offer examinations for
credit in select courses. Credit by Examination allows a student to
earn credit towards graduation hours without registering for the full
course. Details about courses offered, cost of exams and how to prepare

| Math & Stats Learning Center | Students can get assistance with their math and statistics classes by attending tutoring sessions offered through the MSLC.
The MSLC offers open tutoring hours for some advanced and most 100
level math classes as well as for Statistics 133, 135, 145, 427 and 428.

| Student Advocacy Center | The Student Advocacy Center
assists students by answering their questions, referring them to campus
resources and offering guidance on university policies and procedures
to help students navigate our large campus.

| Student Health Center | The Wilce Student Health Center
offers a variety of services for Ohio State students, including:
Allergy Injections, Dental, Health Information Services, Immunizations,
Laboratory, Nutrition Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Primary Care, Sports
Medicine, Radiology, and Women's and Men’s Services.
All students enrolled at OSU are eligible to use
the health service, regardless of health insurance coverage. The Wilce
Center provides most services on an appointment basis. Students with
injuries or illness requiring immediate attention may be evaluated and
scheduled to see a physician on a same-day basis. The Student Health
Center is partially funded with student fee dollars. These fee dollars
help to keep the medical services at the Student Health Center among the
most affordable in the Columbus area.

| Student Wellness Center | The mission of the Student Wellness Center
is simple: to promote the wellness of OSU students and their
communities. The Center serves the OSU community with a variety of
ongoing programming, events, appointments, and information sessions.
Topics covered by the SWC include: drug abuse education and prevention,
financial counseling, healthy eating and active living, healthy
relationships and sexual wellness, sexual violence education and
support, stress and sleep counseling, and abuse education and
prevention.

| Tutoring | Many departments at Ohio State offer free tutoring for select
coursework, or can refer students to paid tutors in their area as well.

| Military & Veteran Students | The Office for Military and Veterans Services
provides assistance to veterans and their families. Information is
available for current and future students and students can use the
office and website to make connections at the university and receive
assistance in a variety of areas.

| Walter E. Dennis Learning Center | In addition to providing the letter graded, 5 credit hour course EDPL
259: Individual Learning and Motivation Strategies for Success in
College, the Dennis Learning Center
also provides additional courses as well as workshops, one-on-one
assistance and tutoring in Chemistry, Math, and Physics. The EDPL 259
course is a great option for students who want to boost their GPA,
improve on their study skills, or gain new academic success skills to
carry them forward in their coursework.

| Student Service Center | The Student Service Center (SSC) assists students with financial aid matters, tuition and fee payments, registration challenges, managing your Student Center, and other issues.

| Office of International Affairs | OIA offers services for international students as well as for those students who wish to Study Abroad. Their site contains detailed information on Study Abroad program requirements, costs and application deadlines.

| Student Legal Services | A non-profit law office, Student Legal Services provides advice, representation, education and resources to eligible students (fee paid at the beginning of Autumn semester).
